In some Tribal sites of Maharashtra near Peth – Nashik , tribal villagers are used to pick fallen flowers of Moha (Mahua) .

Moha (Mahua) is considered Holy in tribal culture because of its usefulness .
The flowers are used to produce an Alcoholic Drink also several parts of Tree are used for Medical Properties .
Its oil has emollient properties and used in Skin Disease , Tribals also use it as Cooking oil .
Moha (Mahua) drink is a cultural heritage. Its an essential drink for Tribals during celebrations and festivals .
The season of Moha (Mahua) lasts for limited period , people go early morning and wait till afternoon for fallen flowers .
There is an unwritten Rule in Tribals that , they collect flowers only from their Own land .
